FAST Sailors compete in the Orange Bowl Regatta held at Coral Reef Yacht Club
FAST Opti team traveled to Coral Reef Yacht Club in Miami, Florida on December 26-30 to participate in the Orange Bowl International Youth Regatta. 630 sailors from 17 countries, some as far away as Germany, Holland, The Czech Republic, Iceland, South America and the Caribbean competed for the prestigious trophies filled with oranges. The world famous Orange Bowl Regatta has long been considered a breeding ground for future college and Olympic sailing champions.

33 FAST Sailors compete in USODA Atlantic Coast Championships in Norfolk, Virginia
FAST Opti team traveled to Norfolk Yacht and Country Club in Norfolk, Virginia on October 5-8 to participate in the USODA Atlantic Coast Championships. Top FAST finisher was Casey Brown who finished 44th overall followed by Charlie Lalumiere who finished 51st overall after a 7 race regatta. Congrats to all!

FAST qualifies another 5 sailors for Team Trials at Nationals
Nick Johnstone took the top FAST spot at the USODA National Championships in Sarasota, FL, finishing the regatta in 5th place.
In addition to those FAST sailors who had already qualified for 2007 Team Trials at the Midwest Champs, five more made the cut in Florida with Nick's younger sister Indy closing out the group. At the Girls Nationals held earlier in the week, Anoush Longerstaey sailed to a 2nd place in White Fleet.
